2025 Water Study
In response to recent concerns raised by residents regarding the accuracy of individual water sub-meters, the board of directors commissioned a comprehensive review to evaluate meter performance and billing accuracy. This study was conducted by a contracted plumber who tested each meter requested in the study.
The findings confirmed what previous studies have also concluded: when a sub-meter malfunctions, it does so in a way that underreports water usage—resulting in lower recorded consumption for the affected unit. In other words, any inaccuracy identified has consistently been found to favor the unit owner. Based on these results, the HOA remains confident in the integrity of the sub-metering and billing system currently in place.
